How to host a Hawaiian Theme Stitch Party
Ok, this one was so much fun! I was approached by a customer who wanted to do a Stitch party for 30 children. She didn’t want her table to be full of expensive branded single use plastic ware, but she still wanted it themed and coordinated so I came up with a fantastic versatile party table solution.

I researched colour pallets and themes in the cartoon and came up with a package that would actually have worked for any Hawaiian theme event. I’m thinking baby shower, bridesmaid events, themed dinner party and any summertime special occasions. The customer added in her own branded napkins and cups at the end keeping it true to her daughter’s wishes. And everyone was happy!

For this customer I was able to offer off the shelf solutions such as the placemats, confetti and lanterns but I was also able to offer a bespoke service for those extra special touches. All for a bundle price. I did some made to order Palm trees that were such a cute and fun addition and attracted lots of attention. I also made themed stencils so that the children could go ahead and colour directly onto the table cover. To say that this caused great delight would be putting it mildly! This was great for so many reasons: the delight in feeling like they were breaking the rules for prime party vibes (!) but it also served to keep them at the table for a little bit longer for some down time amidst the usual party chaos and my favourite; it allowed for a few special moments of creativity. And as she lived locally, I did some small tropical theme floral arrangements.

You might be surprised at how durable our paper and card products are though making them perfect to reuse. The children even went home with extra party swag in the form of stencils and pencils.
